Terms of Use and Privacy Policy

1.1 Nature of the Service

Revyou is a social and informative digital platform that allows users to log video games, assign ratings and scores, publish reviews and comments, create lists and personal collections ("vaults"), track game history and status, and interact with other users through followers, likes, and public activities.

The Platform does not sell games, does not intermediate financial transactions between users, and does not provide product sales or distribution services.

1.2 Acceptance and Updates

By accessing or using Revyou, the user agrees to these Terms. If you do not agree with any provision, you must stop using the Platform.

Revyou may update these Terms at any time. Relevant changes may be communicated within the Platform. Continued use after the publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the current version.

1.3 Eligibility

Use is permitted to persons aged 13 or older. Users under 18 must have authorization from their legal guardians, as required by applicable law. Revyou does not intentionally collect data from children under 13.

1.4 Registration and Account

To access most features, the user must create an account via email and password, or through Google or Apple authentication, where available.

The user is responsible for providing accurate information, maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials, and for all activity carried out under their account.

1.5 Third-Party Integrations

The Platform may integrate with third-party services such as Steam Web API, Google or Apple Sign-In, and IGDB for specific features. Use of these integrations is also subject to the terms and policies of the respective providers.

Revyou is not responsible for unavailability or failures arising from third-party services.

1.6 User-Generated Content

The user retains ownership of the content they create on the Platform. Publishing illegal, offensive, fraudulent, or third-party rights-violating content is prohibited.

By publishing content, the user grants Revyou a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and promote it within the Platform itself.

1.7 Moderation

Revyou may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, in order to preserve the safety and integrity of the community.

1.8 Intellectual Property

All rights relating to the Platform belong to Idealizer LTDA. Game metadata and images from third parties belong to their respective rights holders.

1.9 Disclaimer of Warranties

Revyou is provided as-is, without express or implied warranties regarding uninterrupted or error-free operation.

1.10 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Revyou is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.

1.11 Account Termination

The user may delete their account at any time. Deletion is permanent and may involve the definitive removal of data, subject to legal retention obligations.

1.12 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of Tapejara/RS are elected as the competent venue, with consumer rights observed.

2.1 General Principles

Revyou processes personal data in accordance with the principles of purpose, adequacy, necessity, transparency, security, and accountability, in compliance with the LGPD and international standards such as the GDPR.

2.2 Data Processed

Processed data includes information provided by the user (name, email, encrypted password), data generated through use (reviews, ratings, lists, social interactions), and technical data (device identifiers, access logs, and usage metrics).

When the user opts into integrations, data from Steam or basic authentication data from Google or Apple may also be processed.

2.3 Purposes

Data is processed to deliver the service, authenticate users, personalize the experience, optionally sync with third parties, ensure security, continuously improve the platform, and for potential future advertising when implemented.

2.4 Legal Basis

Processing may occur based on consent, contract performance, legitimate interest, or legal obligation.

2.5 Sharing

Data may be shared with infrastructure providers, technology partners, and competent authorities when required by law. Revyou does not sell personal data.

2.6 International Transfer

Data may be processed outside Brazil. In such cases, appropriate safeguards will be adopted in accordance with the LGPD and international data protection standards.

2.7 Data Subject Rights

Data subjects may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, deletion, portability, and revocation of consent, where applicable.

2.8 Security and Retention

Revyou adopts adequate technical and administrative measures for data protection. Information will be retained as long as necessary for the described purposes or as required by law.
