FBI agent Ray Levoi is assigned to aid in the investigation of a political murder, that of tribal council member Leo Fast Elk on a Native American reservation in South Dakota. What he doesn't expect is a wild adventures set against the badlands on a hunt for a murderer and his own personal origins.
