At the end of the 1930s, the young guitarist Pablo left Turin for Rome. Here he begins to frequent the show, develops a political conscience and establishes a relationship with Gina, who owns a bicycle workshop. When the Second World War breaks out, Pablo will first become an anti-fascist and then a communist.
