Toko, a college student who works part-time at a bookstore and coffee shop, is told by her friend Tagami that her mother, Suzuko, was attached to a suspicious man. When I went to my mother in a hurry, I saw such a man. That night, Toko and Suzuko watch an unfinished 8mm film shot by her late father, starring Suzuko, a high school student. The next day, Toko asks a private detective Tamaya about her mother's bodyguard. Tamaya was asked to involve a serious incident the day before, but he went to see her mother with Toko.
