Judith Weiß is a successful neurosurgeon and in a long-term relationship with her student friend Marc. Shortly before their wedding, however, Judith falls in love with the musician Daniel. In a tragic accident, however, Daniel falls into a coma and dies. Judith has fallen madly in love with Daniel and, in order to preserve her love for him beyond death, takes an unusual and momentous decision.
